Gasket Inspector

Job Description

The Gasket Inspector will be responsible for ensuring the quality of gaskets and seals used in various industrial applications. You will inspect and test gaskets to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of gaskets at various production stages.
• Compile and maintain detailed reports on quality issues.
• Work closely with engineering to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Train junior inspectors and staff on inspection procedures.
• Monitor the effectiveness of inspection processes and suggest improvements.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during inspection activities.
• Utilise statistical process control tools to ensure quality benchmarks are met.
• Assist with the development of inspection protocols and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent
• N3 Engineering Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in gasket inspection or a related field.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
