We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, forecasting, and providing insights that support strategic decision-making. This role is critical for ensuring the financial health of our organization and involves significant interaction with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed financial forecasts and analyses for executive review.
• Monitor and report on key financial metrics and performance indicators.
• Actively participate in budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Develop reports that provide actionable insights for management decisions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data.
• Assist in compliance audits and ensure financial regulations are met.
• Update and refine financial processes for greater accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the Finance Manager in strategic initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field
• Master's degree in Finance or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial analyst role

Advantageous

• Experience using statistical analysis tools: Knowledge of statistical tools such as R or Python for financial analysis.
