Job Description

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer to help drive innovation in our Johannesburg office. Your role will involve designing and analyzing mechanical products, ensuring compliance with regulations, and implementing improvements to existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical components.
• Optimize existing mechanical systems for better performance.
• Review and enhance product lifecycle management practices.
• Support the implementation of new technologies in projects.
• Work closely with suppliers to ensure quality materials.
• Assist in training junior engineers and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical systems design and analysis.

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Thermodynamics

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptive communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of ISO standards: Understanding of ISO standards related to mechanical engineering.
