Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our compassionate team in Durban. In this role, you will provide essential therapeutic services to individuals dealing with mental health issues, and work collaboratively to foster a supportive healing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate therapy to clients dealing with emotional and psychological challenges.
  • Create and implement effective treatment strategies based on best practices.
  • Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.
  • Facilitate support groups for clients and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine client needs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Counseling or related field
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in therapeutic settings
