Job Description

As a Recreational Therapist, you will employ creative arts therapy techniques to engage clients in individual and group therapy sessions. Your role will involve assessing the needs of clients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans that foster emotional expression and healing.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that inspire creativity and encourage personal expression.
• Conduct assessments and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment.
• Document therapy progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Creative Arts Therapy or relevant field
• Specialized training in a creative arts therapy technique is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations, including children and adults facing trauma.
