Job Description

As a Barmaid at our bar, you'll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring a clean and well-stocked bar area, and providing excellent customer service. We are looking for someone who can handle busy shifts and engage with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to standard recipes.
• Build rapport with customers to enhance their experience.
• Collect and manage cash payments effectively.
• Keep the bar stocked with necessary supplies and beverages.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance sales.
• Comply with local regulations regarding alcohol service and health safety.
• Ensure all bar equipment is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Provide training to new staff members on bar procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Bartender certification or equivalent experience

Experience

• Proven experience as a Barmaid or Bartender.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
