Retail Manager

We are seeking a results-driven Retail Manager to lead our store operations in Cape Town. • Lead daily operational meetings with staff to discuss performance and targets.
• Develop training programs for new employees and ongoing training for existing staff.
• Maintain store presentation standards and merchandising strategies.
• Handle budgeting and forecasting related to store expenses and sales.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely product deliveries.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are adhered to in the store environment.
• Engage with the community through outreach and relationship-building.
• Implement loss prevention measures to minimize shrinkage.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Diploma in Retail Management is a plus
• Retail Management Proficient in managing retail operations and staff.
• Sales Strategy Development Experienced in formulating effective sales strategies.
• Inventory Management Knowledgeable in stock control and inventory systems.
• Customer Service Skilled in providing and training excellent customer service.
• Leadership Proven ability to lead teams and develop talent.
• Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem-solving Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Time Management Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• English (Fluent)

• Experience with retail management software: Familiarity with systems like SAP or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of visual merchandising principles: Ability to create appealing in-store displays.
