Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts for a variety of projects.
• Facilitate communication between clients, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure all projects adhere to sustainability standards.
• Research materials and construction techniques.
• Develop project timelines and deliverables.
• Review plans and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Provide mentorship to junior architects and interns.
• Attend industry conferences to network and innovate.
• Collaborate on marketing materials for new business opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years' experience in architectural design and project management

Technical Skills

• Creative Suite
• 3D Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Architectural Technician (CAT)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in project management: Experience in managing architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Familiarity with landscape architecture: Experience with landscape design and outdoor space planning.
