Data Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a Data Engineer who will be responsible for constructing and managing data pipelines that facilitate the flow of information to key stakeholders. This role demands a collaborative mindset and a deep understanding of data architecture and manipulation techniques to efficiently turn raw data into refined data sets ready for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement data solutions that drive insights from large datasets.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document data needs.
• Analyze existing data systems and recommend technology enhancements.
• Build and maintain dashboards for data visualization.
• Ensure data governance principles are upheld across data initiatives.
• Research and test new data technologies for potential implementation.
• Provide mentorship to junior data engineering staff.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions on data best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or similar discipline
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database management, or software engineering
