Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide exceptional technical support to our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of users. This role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency of our IT systems and ensuring a smooth operational experience.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and resolve user requests and issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
  • Troubleshoot peripheral devices such as printers and scanners.
  • Provide training and support to users on new technologies and software.
  • Assist in database management and software updates.
  • Work with third-party vendors to resolve complex issues.
  • Assist in the development of IT documentation and user guides.
  • Participate in IT projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on IT equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and security standards.

Requirements

Education
  • National Diploma in Computer Science or relevant field
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in helpdesk or desktop support
