Responsibilities

  • Examine and diagnose animal health problems.
  • Perform surgeries and provide follow-up care.
  • Consult with pet owners regarding their pets' health and treatment plans.
  • Execute vaccination schedules and preventative health programs.
  • Keep detailed records of patient examinations and treatments.
  • Work closely with veterinary nurses and support staff.
  • Educate pet owners about pet care and health issues.
  • Involve in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Conduct emergency care and triage as needed.
  • Foster a caring and supportive environment for pets and owners alike.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
  • Additional certification in veterinary surgery is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in veterinary practice, with surgical experience preferred
