DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a DevOps Engineer in Johannesburg, where you will play a critical role in enhancing our CI/CD pipelines and automating our development processes. You will work closely with developers and system administrators to improve the deployment and operational efficiencies within our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate code deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement automation tools and frameworks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability.
• Ensure best practices for security and compliance are in place.
• Create and manage cloud infrastructure on services like AWS or Azure.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Additional certifications in DevOps tools are advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years in a DevOps or similar role

Technical Skills

• Terraform
• Linux Systems Administration

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
