Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gqeberha. The successful candidate will work on various projects involving system design, analysis, and problem-solving to drive innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies for new product designs.
• Implement improvements to existing mechanical systems.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment.
• Train junior engineers and interns on best practices.
• Document all phases of project development for reporting purposes.
• Engage with clients to capture project requirements and expectations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Leadership

Certifications

• Mechanical Engineering Registration
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent
