Job Description

As a Pharmacist in our Johannesburg branch, you will play a crucial role in dispensing medications, advising patients on health management, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. Your expertise will contribute significantly to patient care in our community.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care.
• Provide drug utilization reviews to prevent medication errors.
• Advise patients on lifestyle changes and over-the-counter medication options.
• Handle queries and complaints efficiently and professionally.
• Supervise pharmacy interns and assist in training programs.
• Prepare and maintain compounded prescriptions as required.
• Participate in community health promotion initiatives.
• Implement and adhere to safety protocols in the pharmacy.
• Collaborate on clinical trials and research projects.
• Support the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm)
• Advanced Training in Pharmaceutical Care preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in retail pharmacy
