Job Description

As a Social Worker with Community Care Services in Pretoria, you will engage directly with clients to assess their needs and develop intervention plans. Your work will address critical social issues while fostering resilience and empowerment within the community. Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and intervention for clients in crisis.
• Develop and implement community programs for awareness and education.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases.
• Conduct follow-up assessments to ensure client needs are met.
• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.
• Engage in policy advocacy to promote social justice.
• Provide feedback to management regarding client needs and service challenges.
• Foster partnerships with local businesses and services.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
• Contribute to program evaluation and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work (BSW)
• Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in social services or community work
