Job Description

As a Community Outreach Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating programs that engage and empower our local community. Your responsibilities will involve developing outreach strategies, building relationships with community stakeholders, and managing community events to promote our initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead community engagement projects and initiatives.
• Identify community needs and develop action plans.
• Manage logistics for events and outreach activities.
• Coordinate with volunteers and staff for effective program execution.
• Create and maintain partnerships with local businesses and non-profit organizations.
• Collect data and prepare reports on outreach effectiveness.
• Promote outreach programs through various channels.
• Organize training and resources for community leaders.
• Foster a spirit of collaboration among community members.
• Engage with social media for broader outreach.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work or Community Development is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in community outreach roles

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous
