Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering principles and a passion for innovation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and prototypes for mechanical systems.
• Utilize CAD software to develop and modify designs.
• Analyze design concepts to assess performance and feasibility.
• Assist in project management to meet deadlines.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure accuracy.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure quality assurance.
• Collaborate on R&D initiatives for new product developments.
• Provide ongoing support to production teams during manufacturing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering roles

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Mechanical Design

Certifications

• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
