Job Description

As an AI Research Scientist based in Johannesburg, your role involves exploring and developing innovative machine learning models. You will engage with data and algorithms to derive insights that drive our AI capabilities forward, enhancing our offerings and maintaining our status as industry leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI research projects from conception through deployment.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on machine learning techniques.
• Assess and recommend new tools and technologies to improve AI capabilities.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation within the research team.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field
• PhD preferred with a focus on machine learning

Experience

• Demonstrated experience in AI/ML research with publication record is beneficial.
