Job Description

As a Pesticide Chemist, you will conduct research and develop effective pesticide formulations that prioritize safety and efficacy. Your expertise will directly contribute to agricultural advancements, helping farmers increase crop yields while protecting the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop pesticide formulations and conduct laboratory and field tests.
  • Analyze data and present findings to the R&D team.
  • Manage laboratory operations and maintain safety protocols.
  • Support sales teams with technical knowledge of pesticide products.
  • Research and implement new testing methodologies.
  • Participate in product registration processes with relevant authorities.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers regarding ingredient sourcing.
  • Train junior staff and provide mentorship on laboratory practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Agricultural Science, or Environmental Science
  • Ph.D. in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in pesticide formulation and testing.
