Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner (GP) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care, be adept at assessing and diagnosing a range of conditions, and possess excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and families effectively.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients with a wide range of medical issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging.
• Implement chronic disease management protocols.
• Follow up with patients regarding their health status.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in private practice or healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Diagnostic skills
• Patient management

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Injury Life Support (AILS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

• Experience with integrative medicine: Knowledge of alternative therapies and their integration into patient care.
