Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments and record medical histories.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation standards.
• Respond to emergencies and provide emergency care.
• Implement care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide discharge planning and patient follow-up.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nursing Diploma
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a nursing role, preferably in hospital settings

Technical Skills

• Wound Care
• Medication Administration

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Time Management

Certifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

Advantageous

• Bilingual in Afrikaans and English: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
• Previous experience in community health: Experience working in community health settings is a plus.
