Job Description

Join our dynamic pharmacy team in Johannesburg as a Pharmacist. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing health consultations, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Your expertise will play a critical role in improving patient care and ensuring safe medication practices.

Responsibilities

• Regularly review patient medical histories and medications.
• Provide emergency care such as medications for allergic reactions.
• Participate in health policy discussions within the pharmacy.
• Assist in managing pharmacy budgets and financial performance.
• Develop educational materials for patients and the community.
• Conduct medication therapy management consultations.
• Coordinate with suppliers for medication and equipment orders.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy operating budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• PharmD or equivalent is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience practicing as a Pharmacist

Certifications

• SGC Pharmacy Certification
