Rehabilitation Counselor

Job Description

As a Rehabilitation Counselor, you will be responsible for assessing clients’ needs and developing comprehensive rehabilitation plans. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to provide support, guidance, and resources to help clients reach their recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ physical, mental, and emotional needs.
• Create customized rehabilitation plans with achievable goals.
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions to support recovery.
• Track client outcomes and adapt plans based on feedback.
• Collaborate with social workers, psychologists, and physical therapists.
• Provide resources and referrals to additional support services.
• Engage in community education and advocacy initiatives about rehabilitation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
• Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or similar field preferred.

Experience

• 3-7 years of hands-on counseling experience.
