Job Description

We are looking for a talented Architect to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sustainable design principles, alongside experience in both residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with clients to develop innovative architectural solutions, from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Research materials and construction methods for design suitability.
• Establish project timelines and budget estimates.
• Engage in community consultation processes for public projects to gather feedback.
• Support junior architects and interns in their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• Master's degree in Architecture is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in reputable architectural firms.

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modeling (BIM)
• Sustainable Design Principles

Soft Skills

• Detail Orientation
• Project Management

Certifications

• Architectural Drafting Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to speak multiple languages: Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.
• Leadership experience in design teams: Previous leadership roles in architectural projects are a plus.
