Job Description

As a Nuclear Monitoring Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our nuclear facilities. Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring radiation levels, conducting surveys, and implementing safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed assessments of radiation exposure and risk assessments.
  • Engage with external regulatory bodies during audits or inspections.
  • Keep up to date with advancements in radiation detection technologies.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for safety improvements.
  • Coordinate with environmental health teams for comprehensive safety analyses.
  • Document and track radiation levels for regulatory compliance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
  • Radcon certification preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a nuclear or radiation safety environment
