Looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to drive performance and improve processes within our supply chain operations based in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate must excel at problem-solving and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and assessing supply chain risks and establishing mitigation strategies.
• Incorporating technology solutions to streamline supply chain operations.
• Coordination of transportation logistics and route optimization.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory and supply chain transactions.
• Working closely with finance to develop budgets and forecasts.
• Conducting regular audits to ensure supply chain efficiency.
• Developing training programs for staff on best practices in supply chain management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or equivalent
• MBA or advanced degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of management experience within the supply chain sector

Technical Skills

• Supply Chain Optimization
• Inventory Control Systems

Soft Skills

• Negotiation

Certifications

• APICS CPIM - Certified in Planning and Inventory Management
• Lean Management Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Customs Regulations: Understanding of customs documentation and import/export regulations.
• Change Management Skills: Experience in managing change initiatives within supply chain processes.
