Learning and Development Specialist

Job Description

Our team in Durban is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist who can elevate our training strategies. You will implement effective training methodologies and assess program effectiveness through evaluations and feedback. Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing training programs and recommend enhancements.
• Create a positive learning environment by incorporating engaging training strategies.
• Collaborate with external training providers to deliver specialized training.
• Monitor and track employee progress against training and development objectives.
• Design e-learning modules and incorporate technology into training delivery.
• Provide coaching and support to managers in implementing training initiatives.
• Actively participate in HR initiatives to promote a culture of learning and development.
• Prepare reports on training outcomes and present them to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education or relevant field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in learning and development or related field

Technical Skills

• Instructional Design
• E-learning development

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP): Certification demonstrating expertise in training and development practices.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS): Familiarity with systems that support administrative tasks in e-learning.
