Job Description

As a Public Health Analyst, you'll dive deep into health data, assess the needs of the population, and influence public health decisions. This role requires a strong foundation in research methods and a passion for improving health outcomes in diverse communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop research methodologies to support public health studies.
  • Facilitate focus groups and community engagement initiatives.
  • Create visualizations of health data for presentations and reports.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals and community leaders to assess health needs.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports.
  • Evaluate funding opportunities for public health projects.
  • Provide technical assistance to public health partners.
  • Stay current on public health issues and emerging trends.
  • Contribute to public health policy advocacy efforts.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss health program strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Sciences or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or related field is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in public health analysis or related field
