Job Description

The Rotoformer Backtender will ensure the rotoformer machine operates efficiently, maintaining top-notch quality standards. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, working closely with the production team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the consistent running of the rotoformer machine.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on equipment.
• Verify that finished products meet quality specifications.
• Engage with other production staff to maintain workflow efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of machine operations.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff members.
• Execute any additional duties as directed by the Production Manager.
• Monitor supply levels and prepare requisitions for materials.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent qualification
• National Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is advantageous

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in machine operation within manufacturing

• Maintenance skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using calipers and micrometers: Skilled in using measurement tools for quality assurance.
