Pharmacist Supervisor

Job Description

As a Pharmacist Supervisor, you will oversee pharmacy operations, including managing staff, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and providing patient care. Your role will involve mentoring junior pharmacists and pharmacists in training, promoting a customer-centered approach while ensuring optimal medication management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers for drug procurement and inventory.
• Analyze and resolve medication-related problems for patients.
• Implement patient safety initiatives and quality assurance programs.
• Prepare and review medication management plans.
• Assist in community education regarding medication use.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communications regarding patient care.
• Participate in pharmacy-led research and development initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pharmaceutical therapies.
• Maintain a positive work environment that fosters teamwork.
• Ensure that all equipment and facilities are maintained according to standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in pharmacy roles, including supervisory experience.
