Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Food and Beverage Manager to lead our dining operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will excel in creating unique culinary experiences, managing staff, and ensuring top-notch service delivery. You will play a pivotal role in menu development, cost control, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall food and beverage service operations.
  • Create engaging and seasonal menus in collaboration with culinary leaders.
  • Analyze service and sales data to drive decisions.
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction levels through service quality.
  • Conduct interviews and hire staff in alignment with company culture.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff training sessions for skills enhancement.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance and sanitation practices.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for the best pricing and quality products.
  • Promote sustainable practices within the food and beverage operations.
  • Report directly to the General Manager with insights and recommendations.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing food service operations
