Job Description

Join our team as an Insurance Underwriter, where you will be instrumental in analyzing client risks and determining appropriate coverage options. You will be responsible for mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with company policies. Ideal candidates will possess robust analytical skills and a keen understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data to assess risk exposures.
• Review and approve or decline insurance quotes based on risk assessment.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery.
• Monitor client accounts to ensure adherence to underwriting standards.
• Support in training new staff in underwriting practices.
• Identify and prevent fraudulent activities through thorough investigations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science is preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of underwriting experience

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Familiarity with claims processes: Understanding of the claims processes to assess proper risk management.
