Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead our projects in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction teams and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget, whilst maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate construction activities on-site.
• Develop strategies to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.
• Mentor junior staff and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in the construction industry

• Financial Acumen
• Site Safety Management

Certifications

• Lean Construction Certification
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM): Hands-on experience with BIM software for project visualization.
• Fluent in Afrikaans or Zulu: Proficiency in local languages is an asset for stakeholder communication.
