Job Description

As a Construction and Building Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our construction projects comply with all relevant regulations and standards. You will conduct thorough site inspections, document progress, and address any compliance issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of work sites and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Review engineering plans to verify compliance with local codes.
• Coordinate with local authorities for compliance inspections.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions for improvements in construction practices.
• Support the Construction Manager in implementing quality assurance processes.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma
• Certification in construction inspection is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation construction inspection or a related field

Technical Skills

• Experience using construction management software
• Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Communication

Certifications

• Certified Construction Inspector
• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with building codes and regulations: Knowledge of local building codes and regulations affecting construction projects.
