Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to join our Durban office. In this role, you will provide expert advice on environmental regulations and sustainability practices, supporting clients in meeting compliance standards and promoting eco-friendly initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Perform site assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with clients to implement eco-friendly practices.
• Conduct research on emerging environmental issues and solutions.
• Prepare and submit necessary documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Develop and lead workshops on environmental sustainability.
• Advocate for environmental stewardship in local communities.
• Coordinate with government agencies for project approvals.
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights for environmental improvement.
• Create and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• Minimum 4 years in environmental management or consulting
