As a Cybersecurity Specialist based in Port Elizabeth, you will analyze security breaches and implement effective countermeasures. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional who can work collaboratively to strengthen our cybersecurity posture.

Responsibilities

• Design security systems and controls to meet industry standards.
• Evaluate and update security measures regularly.
• Work with third-party vendors to assess their security practices.
• Identify potential threats and implement strategies to combat them.
• Ensure all systems are up to date with the latest security patches.
• Provide support during audits and compliance checks.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or relevant field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of hands-on experience securing networks

Technical Skills

• Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS)
• Data Encryption

Certifications

• CompTIA Security+
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Languages

• English: Fluent
