Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Skills Development Coordinator to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will spearhead our learning and development programs, ensuring that our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all aspects of training and development initiatives.
  • Evaluate the success of training programs and make improvements based on feedback.
  • Provide assistance in the development of training budgets and manage expenditures.
  • Implement career development initiatives to enhance employee skill sets.
  • Collaborate with HR on integration of training with performance management processes.
  • Foster an environment that encourages employee engagement and learning.
  • Conduct follow-up assessments to measure training retention and application of skills.
  • Assist in compliance training and ensure all employees are up to date with required training.
  • Engage in community outreach for skill enhancement programs.
  • Work with management to create individualized development plans for employees.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or equivalent in a relevant field
  • Postgraduate qualification is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years in a similar role with a focus on employee development
