Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Social Worker to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will support individuals and families in need, offering guidance and resources to help them overcome challenges. You will work collaboratively with community organizations to implement programs that address social issues affecting our population.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach activities to engage with the community.
• Collaborate with local agencies to optimize service delivery.
• Document case details and maintain confidentiality in client records.
• Guide clients in developing coping strategies and life skills.
• Facilitate support groups and workshops for client empowerment.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and suggest improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a social services setting

• Social Work Registration Board Certification
