Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will work directly with individuals and communities to provide support, counseling, and advocacy. The role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other social service providers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess clients' social and emotional needs.
• Design and implement individualized care plans.
• Work with community stakeholders to coordinate client services.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as required.
• Assist clients in navigating the healthcare and social service systems.
• Organize and lead community outreach initiatives.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance service delivery.
• Develop partnerships with other service providers.
• Engage in reflective practice to improve service quality.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical requirements in social work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in case management or social services

Certifications

Languages
