Job Description

As an Architect, you will play a vital role in developing innovative design solutions that meet our clients’ needs. You’ll work on a variety of projects, ensuring design integrity while managing timelines and budgets. This position requires creative thinking and a passion for creating exceptional architectural spaces.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
• Manage all phases of architectural projects from initial concept to completion.
• Conduct client consultations to understand their needs and design preferences.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and building regulations throughout the project.
• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.
• Utilize innovative design strategies to optimize functionality and sustainability.
• Assist in proposal and bidding processes for new projects.
• Participate in design workshops and presentations to foster client engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• Master's degree in a related field is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in the architectural field, with a focus on residential projects

Technical Skills

• 3D Rendering
• Graphic Design

Soft Skills

• Team leadership

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Intermediate

Advantageous

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations: Understanding local compliance needs to aid project success.
• Proficiency in additional design software: Experience with tools such as Lumion or Archicad is beneficial.
