Job Description

As a Waterman, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining water systems to ensure efficient delivery of services. You will conduct water quality testing, manage treatment processes, and collaborate with engineers to improve infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain water quality standards across the system.
• Conduct regular inspections of water treatment facilities.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment.
• Train junior staff on water management and safety procedures.
• Research new water management technologies and techniques.
• Assist in the preparation of budget and reports for water operations.
• Engage with community stakeholders regarding water services.
• Ensure efficient use of water resources and promote conservation methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's in Environmental Science or related field is preferred
• Valid certification in Water Management principles

Experience

• Experience in project management related to water systems is advantageous
