DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure while promoting automation and efficiency across our deployments. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both development and operations, as well as experience with cloud services and continuous integration.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement reliable and scalable cloud solutions.
• Drive automation at every step of the development pipeline.
• Manage releases and deployments effectively.
• You will also be involved in root cause analysis and reliability engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solution alignment with business goals.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering or equivalent role

Languages
