Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing processes in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth knowledge of production management, ensuring efficiency and quality across the board.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all aspects of production operations to maximize productivity while ensuring adherence to quality standards.
• Create and implement production plans based on forecasted demand.
• Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure materials availability.
• Identify areas for process optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop training programs for employees on production techniques and safety procedures.
• Maintain clean and organized production areas according to industry best practices.
• Assess and resolve any production issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Lead root cause analysis for any production failures to implement preventive strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

• 5+ years of experience in production management in a manufacturing environment
