Production Manager

Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing production processes, ensuring quality standards, and leading a team of skilled professionals to achieve production targets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure quality output.
• Lead a team of supervisors and operators to achieve production targets.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory management practices.
• Implement training programs for new and existing employees.
• Report production performance metrics to senior management on a regular basis.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or relevant field

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in production management

• ERP Software

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
• IOSH Managing Safely

Languages

• English: Fluent
