Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to patients.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and modify as necessary.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuous professional development.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or student nurses.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse qualification
• Master of Nursing is an asset

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting

Technical Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Patient Documentation

Soft Skills

• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Knowledge of EHR systems: Familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems for efficient patient care documentation.
• Leadership experience: Experience in a leadership role within the nursing staff.
