Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our team based in Johannesburg. You'll be instrumental in providing mental health support, conducting assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to create treatment plans that cater to individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychological evaluations to assess mental health conditions.
• Create tailored intervention plans for clients with varied psychological issues.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance clinical skills.
• Support a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient management.
• Counsel clients by providing guidance and crisis management.
• Participate in research initiatives to advance mental health practices.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology (PhD or PsyD)
• HPCSA registration as a Clinical Psychologist

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in psychological services

Technical Skills

• Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• Trauma-Informed Care

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Clinical Psychologist Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Setswana: Conversational

• Proficiency in hypnosis: Experience in using hypnosis as an adjunct treatment method.
