Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain initiatives in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and inventory management and will be responsible for optimizing our entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Direct supply chain management from acquisition to delivery.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement.
• Enhance supplier performance through strategic partnerships.
• Collaborate on initiatives to reduce environmental impact of logistics.
• Champion initiatives for continuous improvement within the supply chain.
• Utilize technology to streamline supply chain operations.
• Ensure accurate reporting and compliance within supply chain functions.
• Lead negotiations for supplier contracts and pricing.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
• MBA is preferred but not required

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the logistics industry
