Job Description

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager who can oversee our warehouse operations in East London. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing warehouse processes, and leading a dedicated team. This role requires excellent organizational skills and a solid understanding of logistics to ensure the smooth flow of goods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scheduling of warehouse staff shifts.
• Perform regular inspections of warehouse premises.
• Manage external logistics providers for transportation.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop cost-saving measures within warehouse operations.
• Manage budget for warehouse operations.
• Implement technology solutions for inventory tracking.
• Foster a positive workplace culture among the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and feedback sessions.
• Identify training needs and create development plans.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a logistics or warehouse role

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
