Job Description

As an Architectural Technologist at Streamline Architects in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of projects from inception through to completion. Your expertise in architectural detailing and building technology will contribute to our commitment to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally sustainable designs. You’ll collaborate with architects and project teams to ensure all technical aspects are meticulously addressed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review architectural drawings and documents.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to determine project requirements.
• Manage project timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct site visits for inspections and liaise with contractors.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and bids.
• Contribute to sustainable design solutions and technical guidance.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Certification in Project Management is advantageous

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
