Job Description

As an Architectural Technologist at Streamline Architects in Cape Town, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of projects from inception through to completion. Your expertise in architectural detailing and building technology will contribute to our commitment to creating functional, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally sustainable designs. You’ll collaborate with architects and project teams to ensure all technical aspects are meticulously addressed.

Responsibilities

• Create architectural models and visualize design concepts.
• Assist in permitting processes to secure approvals.
• Document project developments and adjustments along the way.
• Support project delivery with accurate scheduling.
• Evaluate site conditions and develop site analyses.
• Mentor junior staff on project processes and technical standards.
• Foster positive relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Certification in Project Management is advantageous

Experience

• 4-7 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling Software
• Sustainable Design Practices

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced Software Skills: Experience with advanced architectural software such as SketchUp and ArchiCAD.
