Job Description

We are searching for a talented Civil Engineer to join our esteemed team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, overseeing, and implementing engineering projects that require a deep understanding of civil engineering principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering aspects of construction and refurbishment projects.
• Analyze and assess existing structures to recommend improvements.
• Develop project proposals and assist in the bidding process.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety precautions.
• Engage with government and regulatory bodies for permits and approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project alignment.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and developments.
• Liaise with clients to address their inquiries and ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior staff.
• Prepare and present technical presentations to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus.

Experience

• 5+ years working in the construction or civil engineering field.
